Sneak Peek - Before & Afters

I've finally managed to take some snaps of a few spaces I have been working on in a home in Glenwood. The home is around 120 years old, so it has the original lead pane windows, beautiful high ceilings and timber floors. The views from the home are amazing, you can basically see the entire harbour.
We renovated the main en-suite, bedroom and cigar lounge.

The cigar lounge was really fun to do. To create a "gentlemans lounge feel" we made up a chesterfield style couch, got prints made of vintage postcards of durban and framed these, customade a large trunk for a coffee table, kept the original timber wall panelling and added a striped wallpaper above. We finished off by adding some vintage peices belonging to the client, like a real old corona typewriter.

I'm super stoked with the way the drinks cabinets turned out. I designed these with an engraved outline of africa on the kiaat doors, and then the internal is ducoed a postbox red colour. Just to add a pop of fun.
There are still a few bits and bobs to be completed by sub-contractors, so will share more snaps soon.
