Midlands Weekend

Hello Lovelies. Hope you had a super weekend?! We spent our weekend in the Midlands, just the two of us. We had such a great time, getting to sleep in each morning, chilling by cosey fires with red wine in the evenings and  . . . just chilling. We were however up at 7am on sunday morning, both of us super keen to get going to see our little boy. We really missed him.

Heres what we got up to whilst in the Midlands:

We stayed at Sycamore Treehouses. Every treehouse is different and built in the trees. The craftsmanship in the treehouse is amazing. Each one is built by the original owner and each piece of carpentry too. Will be doing a separate post on this.

Cafe Bloom is such a lovely quaint deli/coffee shop. We must have chilled on their super comfy couches for about 3 hours, sipping on lattes and grazing on their delicious sarmies made with homemade bread and served with a side dish of their amazing marmalade. The ceramics on sale by the talented Michael Haigh, are super too!

A must visit on the Midlands Meander is Things We Love. Such a cool store filled with vintage goodies for the home plus lovely ceramics too. The store is situated next to Lavender Trout, which makes delicious pizzas. A definate must!

Karkloof  Falls was such a lovely spot to chill and take in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Loved it here.

We really enjoyed our weekend away, rested and ready for this week ahead!
