Make do and Mend

Handmade is a trend that I firmly believe in and always will. With the current period of economic unstabililty, the craft trend has become more popular, especially amongst the young.  There has been a return to the "make do and mend" mentality amongst consumers. Designers have shifted their focus to old craft techniques and skills and injected a modern twist to it. The result is a handmade trend in fashion, interiors and all aspects of design, which I hope is here to stay. Here are some of my favourite knitted and crochet lovelies:
