At the moment there does'nt seem to be enough time in the day to get thru everything on my many 'to-do' lists. I've been hectically busy, churning out design presentations, meeting with clients etc, before the big day arrives, which i wish i knew for sure when that was, but somethings i just cant control everything!
So, the nursery is all ready and so am I (well, as ready as I can be) for our new bundle of joy to arrive! Here are some pics I recently shared on my instagram of our baby's nursery:
When it comes to nurseries and kiddos spaces, storage is key! These grey and white woven baskets are great for extra nappies, hats, bibs etc. The wooden boxes with blackboard fronts are being used to store toys. Placed under the cot, easy to get to when the little guy starts to crawl. All available from Mr Price Home.
To give your nursery space a personal touch, you can do so with artwork and illustrations. The button Africa is from local artist Bron Stofberg and the daddy bear illustration from Jimbob Art.
Add local handmade pieces such as the Mr Price pouff with a hand stitched creation by local artist Terry Angelos, the cool pirate doll is from a sweet store in Nottingham road (sorry, preggie brain has forgotten the name), the hessian bunting is by Little Mud Hut designs and not to mention the fab ilovebokkie wall hooks (heehee), super for hanging hooded towels and showcasing cool baby gear.
Finally to complete that unique personalised space, add a vintage item or two. The navy blue and white baby shoes on the shelf were my hubbies when he was a baba. Too cute!
Would love to know what you think of my babas new space! chat soon. . . .
